These are the orignal instructions and screenshots for this process.
These were applicable between 2016 when this article was originally written, and late 2020 when Wealthy Affiliate implemented a major user interface project which make the captured screenshots from 2016 to be seriously outdated.
These are step by step pictures that show how to build a website fast. 🙂 🙂
You can see the current version here. The main differences are the screenshots. Wealthy Affiliate upgraded the user interface. The underlying functionally is still the same. 🙂 🙂
Log into your Wealthy Affiliate account, select Site Rubix on the menu on the left, then select Site Builder as shown in the screenshot above.
See a few easy steps.
Select kind of website: Select “A Free Website”. On a free starter account, this is the only option.
Key in a domain name. In this example, I entered “enterwebsitename”. As it was available, the “available” icon is displayed.
Name the website is the next step. This can be changed afterwards. In this example, I entered “The Name of the web site goes here”.
This does not have to be the same as the domain name associated with the website. In many cases, it is. The website name is changeable. The domain name is not.
Choose a look for your website from the list of available looks.
Click on “I’m Ready, Build My WebSite Now” button.
A “hold tight, building website” message is displayed.
A few moments later, a built website message is displayed.
The website is now built. Wasn’t that fast? 🙂 🙂
When Wealthy Affiliate came out with this approach years ago it was leading edge. Now numerous webhosts have similar interfaces. These solutions are very bit as good and usually a lot cheaper.
A disclosure, I am about to share a link. I may earn commissions if you buy using my links.
A good reliable WordPress Hosting webhost who has been around since 2003 is Bluehost. They have a good interface and they have 24/7 support.
