Domain Cost Club, a Question and Answer Session

Do you want to buy domains and renewals at great prices? Or do you want to get domain privacy? Or do you want to earn money?

Domain Cost Club, a Question and Answer Session

If you answered Yes to one or more of the questions above, you will be interested in Domain Cost Club. I answer some commonly asked questions below.

Are there minimum buys monthly to qualify?

The longer version of this question is “Are there any minimum buys monthly to qualify and start getting paid commissions?”

No.

All you have to do is have your referrals enter your Domain Cost Club username (mine is dynamicdavid) during registration. If your referrals are using your Domain Cost Club referral link this should already be included.

All monies earned will be credited to your account which you can use to purchase domains, renew memberships, and other services. Or you can choose to have your commissions paid out by check, wire, or Paypal.

How much can I earn?

The longer version of this question is “How much can I earn when my referrals purchase Domain Cost Club memberships?”

For example, if you refer someone to an Unlimited Membership you will earn a $25.00 referral fee. You will continue to earn the referral commissions on subsequent renewals. If a member signs up for a Lite to Plus Membership and later decides to upgrade their membership level, you will be compensated the difference at the time of upgrade. How cool is that?

Membership Type Annual Membership Price Referral Commission
Lite $9.99 $1.00
Basic $29.99 $5.00
Plus $49.99 $10.00
Unlimited $99.99 $25.00

*** This information was correct at the time this was written and may no longer be correct.

You will earn commissions listed above based on what you refer. It does not matter what type of membership you have. If you are a Lite Membership and you refer an Unlimited Membership, you will earn $25.00.

All monies earned will be credited to your account which you can use to purchase domains, renew memberships, and other services. Or you can choose to have your commissions paid out by check, wire, or Paypal.

Do they supply marketing materials? How much?

The longer version of this question is “Do Domain Cost Club supply marketing materials and do you have to pay for marketing materials developed or provided by Domain Cost Club?”

Domain Cost Club do not supply marketing materials in the traditional sense. However they are a modern business using modern methods, using referral links.

Referral links include your username in the link and this is how Domain Cost Club knows the source of the referral.

Once you become a Domain Cost Club member, you are supplied with a referral link that includes your Domain Cost Club username.

My replicated Domain Cost Club website has “Referred by dynamicdavid” on the top right hand corner. Your replicated Domain Cost Club website which have your referral id (your name or your Domain Cost Club user name – your choice)

You will see “Referred by dynamicdavid” on the top right hand corner when you do.

Do they supply you with a marketing web site? How much?

The longer version of this question is “Is there a marketing web site with your own domain supplied that you have to pay for on an annual basis?”

See the answer to the last question.

If you purchase a domain with Domain Cost Club and you are a Domain Cost Club Member, you are able to “park” it to look at your Domain Cost Club referral link for no additional fee. Of course, registering or renewing a domain name will incur a cost which is normal.

This is a DNS entry which you can change at any time within your Domain Cost Club account for each of the domains you have registered with Domain Cost Club.

Personally I usually point my DNS entries for each of my domains to look at my web host’s servers as I usually have an active website associated with my domain names. That is how I roll! 🙂 🙂

However if you are only “parking” domain names, then leaving the DNS entry to look at your Domain Cost Club referral link is an option that is available to you.

Do they offer another website setup that you can add to your sell program (include costs in your reply)?

The longer version of this question is “Do they offer another web site set up for you that can add to your sell program and if so is that cost extra, and how much extra?”

I am not sure what this question is asking for. Domain Cost Club do not offer any other commission-able items besides Domain Cost Club Memberships.

You can change the DNS entries for any domains you purchase via your Domain Cost Club membership to point to the applicable web host servers. You would then build out that website yourself or pay a web development company (a third party) to do this for you. You might be able to get additional help from the ‘original’ third party sellers of the products that you are promoting. That would depend on those ‘original’ third party sellers.

You would have to contact the third parties yourself to ask them directly what they offer and what their costs are, etc.

Are they doing any marketing? Where?

The longer version of this question is “With such a program, getting the word out is key, the big boys are the standard bearers for the market (i.e. GoDaddy, NameCheap, etc). Is the owner of this program doing any marketing, and if so where?”

Domain Cost Club do not market this program internally, as that would directly conflict with Domain Cost Club affiliates, myself included and potentially you.

This would affect Domain Cost Club affiliates ability to market the Domain Cost Club offerings. Domain Cost Club do not want to interfere with Domain Cost Club Members’ abilities to generate referral revenue.

They do maintain different social media accounts which may be considered as marketing.

How big is the potential market?

The longer version of this question is “There is a select audience this would apply to. Obviously the one time buyers of a domain or two may not be interested, but the ones who speculate may be. Any estimate on how big that niche is?”

I believe that the select audience is huge. Let me explain why I am of this opinion below.

I include everyone or every organisation that purchases at least one domain name per year or renews at least one domain name per year. Purchasing or renewing multiple domains per year just makes Domain Cost Club membership way more attractive. If domain privacy services are required, that just makes Domain Cost Club membership way more attractive. The different types of Domain Cost Club membership makes membership attractive no matter how many domain names are purchased or renewed per year.

This is attractive for you if you purchase or renew one domain name per year. Or for you if you purchase or renew a few domain names per year. Or for you if you purchase or renew more than a few domain names per year.

With the “lite” membership package, people who purchase less than 5 domain names a year are catered for. If these people do their sums, they may find that Domain Cost Club is also actually cost effective for them, especially if they have to pay extra for domain privacy services for each domain name per year.

On March 7, 2020 there were over 417,000,0000 domain names registered worldwide according to Domain Name Stat.

Domain Registration - On March 7, 2020 there were over 417,000,0000 domain names registered world according to Domain Name Stat

Each of those are active domain names where someone paid good money to registrar each of those domain names.

The potential market is huge. The potential market includes people who are interested in making money online referring others to online businesses, people who have several domains in a portfolio and could save money with Domain Cost Club, as well as those who are interested in investing in many domain names, are all potential people who could become Domain Cost Club members.

Basically anyone who purchases at least one domain name per year or renews at least one domain name per year could be a potential Domain Cost Club member. Remember that on March 7, 2020 there were over 417,000,0000 domain names registered worldwide according to Domain Name Stat.

Of course, Domain Cost Club membership is more attractive to those who purchase or renew multiple domain names per year. However Domain Cost Club membership can be attractive even if you purchase or renew just one domain name per year.

How long has Domain Cost Club being around?

Since 2014.

What makes this one different?

Domain Cost Club’s longevity will be proven by those who are tired of paying marked-up prices elsewhere for the same services Domain Cost Club offers. A great deal of Domain Cost Club business has been generated not from new domain owners, but those who want to save money by transferring all of their domains to Domain Cost Club, myself included.

Domain Cost Club and I believe that as long as people need domain names, Domain Cost Club will prove useful. Domain names are an integral part of the internet. The internet simply would not work without domain names. In my opinion, domain names will be required for many years into the future.

Remember the domain name market includes people who can be persuaded to move their domain names to Domain Cost Club. I myself am actually one of those people. I moved domain names from my previous domain registrar over to Domain Cost Club.

Domain Cost Club sells domain names and website hosting at really good prices to members. I use them. I joined as a member in late 2014.
All of my domains were transferred over to them by the middle of 2015. They are my preferred domain supplier since then. I wrote a detailed review which you will find here.
If you purchase domains, I recommend you visit Domain Cost Club and buy a membership. Then you can buy domains using very good pricing. You can also optionally buy hosting for the domains you have registered with Domain Cost Club.
To learn more about Domain Cost Club or to see if the domain name you want is still available, I recommend you visit Domain Cost Club. I may earn if you purchase a Domain Cost Club membership using this link.

  1. Hi David,

Thanks for this. I’ve never heard of Domain Cost Club before and I do deal in many Domains so this sounds interesting.

Could you please break down the numbers a bit to show savings through membership. Thanks!

    • Hi Michael,

It sounds like Domain Cost Club could be ideal for you! 🙂 🙂

I broke the numbers down a bit in one of my other posts which you find here.

Everyone saves their potential savings in different ways, so you way may be different. However the numbers I broke down are for dot com domain names which still accounts for a major clunk of the domain name business, over 40% in fact.

Let me know if you have any additional questions regarding Domain Cost Club.

If you buy or renew domains on a regular basis, it sounds to me that Domain Cost Club was built for you!

      Cheers,
      David
